Stainless Steel Vacuum Sealer: Where 65kPa Sets the Limit

Twenty units ship in one 55×39×32 cm export carton at 17 kg gross — that carton, not the datasheet, sets your landed cost per unit. The UAH26GX is a stainless steel vacuum sealer rated 120W, 65kPa suction and a 30cm seal bar — and where that suction ceiling sits decides which of your channels it actually fits.
// 01 — Key takeaways
Rated suction on the UAH26GX. Enough for dry goods, firm cuts and portioned produce; not a substitute for a chamber machine on free liquid.
Seal-bar length, with a 3 mm heating strip. That width takes the widest common consumer roll without folding the bag mouth.
Pump flow rate, ±15%. Flow decides how fast a bag empties; kPa only decides how far it empties.
Export carton is 55×39×32 cm at 17 kg — 3.43 litres of container volume per unit.

// 02 — Definition
What is a stainless steel vacuum sealer?
A stainless steel vacuum sealer is an external countertop sealer that draws air through a bag mouth clamped in a vacuum channel, then fuses the bag with a heated strip. The steel is a front panel bonded over an ABS chassis. On the UAH26GX that panel sits above a 120W pump.
Where the steel actually sits
The UAH26GX lists its material as ABS plus stainless steel. The steel is the visible top and front panel; the body, lid and vacuum channel are moulded ABS. This matters commercially: a buyer paying for a steel machine is paying for the surface that resists scratching, wiping and kitchen chemicals, not for a steel pump housing.
Say that plainly in your listing copy. A returns spike traced to “I thought it was solid steel” costs more than the sentence you saved.
How is 65 kPa measured?
Suction is quoted as a pressure differential below ambient. 65 kPa means the pump pulls the bag interior roughly 65 kilopascals below atmospheric — about 64% of the air removed at sea level. It is measured at the pump port on a dry cycle, with no bag resistance in the path.
Your bag, its thickness and the food inside all reduce the figure reached in real use. A rated number is a ceiling, not a promise.
Why the 4 L/min flow rate matters
Flow rate is the volume of air the pump moves per minute — 4 L/min ±15% here. Two machines at the same 65kPa can differ by seconds per cycle because one moves air faster. For a retail buyer that is a perceived-quality signal; for a hotel back-of-house it is throughput.
// 03 — Suction ceiling
Where 65 kPa sets the limit
65 kPa handles dry goods, firm proteins and portioned produce well. It struggles where free liquid or delicate structure is involved, because an external sealer pulls air across the bag mouth and will pull liquid with it. That boundary, not the price, is what decides which channel a stainless steel vacuum sealer suits.
Dry goods and firm cuts
Coffee, nuts, cereals, rice, cheese blocks, steaks and portioned chicken all seal cleanly at 65 kPa. The UAH26GX carries a dedicated Dry mode and a Rice mode for exactly this. Oxygen removal is what slows oxidative and bacterial deterioration — the US FSIS explains the mechanism in its meat and poultry packaging guidance.
Wet, marinated and liquid-rich foods
Wet mode shortens the vacuum phase and seals earlier, which keeps liquid out of the pump. It also means a shallower vacuum on those items. Marinated meat, soups and brines are the classic external-sealer weak point — freeze the portion flat first, then seal.
Vacuum packing is not a kill step. The UK Food Standards Agency’s vacuum packaging guidance sets out the chilled shelf-life controls that still apply, and the US FDA covers the same ground for reduced oxygen packaging. Sell the machine on freshness and waste reduction, never on safety claims.
When to step up to 95 kPa
If your buyer packs wet product daily, this stainless steel vacuum sealer is not the honest answer — the 135W dual-pump models are. The UAH34AX and UAH63AX both quote 60–95 kPa dry and −1 to 65 kPa wet, with a wider 5 mm wet / 7 mm dry heating strip. They cost roughly twice as much per unit, and they are a different shelf position.
Buyers ask us for more kPa when what they actually need is a wider heating strip. Pressure gets the air out; the strip is what keeps it out three months later.

What the 3 mm heating strip changes
A 3 mm strip lays a single weld. It is fine on dry bags and thin films. On a thick 4-mil embossed bag with a trace of moisture at the mouth, a wider strip gives more margin. That is the single clearest difference between this model and the 135W units below.
Six modes, and the two that get used
The panel offers Vac, Seal, Rice, Wet, Dry and Stop, on a waterproof touch screen. In practice most end users live in Dry and Wet. Seal-only matters for re-closing a part-used bag; Stop is the manual abort that saves a delicate item mid-cycle. Print all six on the box anyway — they read as value at shelf.
The unit also supports simultaneous multi-bag sealing across the 30 cm bar, plus a detachable base and a UV cleaning function.
// 05 — Range
How does it compare with our other sealers?
Against our own range the UAH26GX sits in the entry-to-mid band: same 120W/65kPa platform as the UAH39GX, but with a steel panel. The 135W dual-pump UAH34AX and UAH63AX buy you deeper dry suction and a wider strip at roughly twice the unit cost.
| Model | Power | Suction (dry) | Seal bar / strip | From $/unit |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| UAH26GX Steel panel | 120W | 65Kpa | 30 cm / 3mm | $10.70 |
| UAH39GX | 120W | 65Kpa | 30 cm / 3mm | $8.30 |
| UAH34AX | 135W | 60 ~ 95Kpa | 30 cm / 5mm wet, 7mm dry | $22.60 |
| UAH63AX | 135W | 60 ~ 95Kpa | 30 cm / 5mm wet, 7mm dry | $27.00 |
Reading the price column
Each figure is the lowest published tier for that model, and each tier starts at a different quantity. The UAH39GX reaches $8.30 only at 5,000 units; the UAH26GX reaches $10.70 at the same volume. The 135W pair are quoted on a different threshold again — $22.60 for the UAH34AX and $27.00 for the UAH63AX are both 2,000-unit tiers, so neither figure is comparable to the 5,000-unit numbers above it. Compare like for like by quantity before you compare by model.
When the 135W dual-pump models win
They win on wet product, on roll storage and on shelf presence. Both carry a 30 cm × 5 m roll compartment, a sliding cutter, a detachable water tray and a constant-temperature heating strip. If your buyer is a housewares chain wanting a hero SKU, that is the machine. For volume retail, it is not.
// 06 — Landed cost
What does a carton actually cost to land?
Unit price is the smaller half of the answer. Twenty UAH26GX units fill a 55×39×32 cm export carton weighing 17 kg. That is 0.0686 m³ per carton, or 3.43 litres of container volume per unit — the number that turns FOB into landed cost.
Price tiers on this stainless steel vacuum sealer
Published tiers run $11.90 at 1 unit, $11.70 at 20, $10.86 at 500 and $10.70 at 5,000. The steep part of the curve is between 20 and 500 units — an $0.84 drop. After that the curve flattens to $0.16.
| Quantity | Price per unit | Discount vs 1 unit |
| 1 | $11.90 | — |
| 20 | $11.70 | $0.20 |
| 500 | $10.86 | $1.04 |
| 5,000 | $10.70 | $1.20 |
Carton and volumetric math
A 20-foot container holds roughly 28 m³ of usable stow. At 0.0686 m³ per carton that is around 400 cartons, or 8,000 units. At 17 kg per carton that is only about 6.8 tonnes against a 20-foot payload near 28 tonnes — this SKU is cube-limited, not weight-limited, so optimise the stow for volume and ignore the weight line. Run your own freight quote against those two figures rather than against the unit price alone.
// 07 — Fit
Who should shortlist this model?
Three channels fit. Retail distributors who need a steel-look machine under a low price point, hospitality suppliers buying for kitchenettes and RVs, and private-label brands who want a differentiated finish without moving to a 135W platform. A stainless steel vacuum sealer sells on finish as much as on suction.
Retail and e-commerce distributors
A stainless steel vacuum sealer photographs better than a full-ABS body, which matters more than any spec on a marketplace listing. At $10.86 per unit for 500, the margin structure supports a mid-shelf retail price while still undercutting the 135W models by a wide gap.
Hotel, RV and serviced-apartment supply
Product size is 36.5×11×5.5 cm and gross weight 0.78 kg, so it stores in a drawer. The 100–240V input means one specification covers a multi-country property group. The detachable base simplifies cleaning between guests.
Private-label and OEM brands
We customise logo, packaging, colour and specification on this platform. The waterproof touch screen and six-mode layout are the two elements buyers most often want re-labelled for their market language.
// 08 — Manufacturing
How we manufacture this stainless steel vacuum sealer
Every unit is built in our own Guilin facility — 15,000 m², 7 assembly lines, 205 workers, founded 2005. We do not buy in and rebadge. The four stages below are where a sealer either earns its 12-month warranty or does not.
In-house tooling & molding
The ABS chassis and lid run on our own moulds, and the stainless panel is formed and bonded in-house. Private-mould work for OEM customers starts at this stage, which is why cosmetic changes do not push the lead time.
Pump & PCBA burn-in
The 120W pump and the touch-panel PCBA are powered up and run before assembly. Early electrical failures show up here rather than in a customer’s kitchen. Boards that drift on the touch layer are pulled at this point.
Seal-integrity & vacuum test
Assembled units run a dry cycle against the 65kPa rating and a seal test across the full 30 cm bar. Quality control looks for weld continuity end to end, because a strip that under-heats at one end passes a spot check and fails in the field.
Compliance & warranty
We build to CE, RoHS, FCC and LFGB among the marks listed on our Trust Center, and issue the certificates and test reports relevant to your destination market on request. Every unit ships with a minimum 12-month warranty.
// 09 — Commercial terms
MOQ, lead time and shipping terms
MOQ is typically 100 units per model, with smaller trial orders available on request. Bulk production runs 15–30 days after deposit; samples ship in 3–7 days. We export FOB China from Shenzhen or Guangzhou, and also quote EXW and CIF.
MOQ and sample orders
A wholesale programme on this stainless steel vacuum sealer normally opens at 100 units. Trial quantities below that are possible where a private-label decision depends on the sample. Ask for the sample before the mould change, not after.
Payment and Incoterms
Standard terms are 30% deposit with the 70% balance before shipment by T/T. Alibaba Trade Assurance is supported. FOB, EXW and CIF are all available so you can keep the freight leg with your own forwarder if you prefer.
Plug standards by market
The 100–240V input means a single SKU serves EU, UK, US and AU programmes; only the cord set changes. That keeps your inventory in one pool instead of four, which is the practical reason to prefer a wide-input platform.

// 11 — Conclusion
The decision in one line
Choose this stainless steel vacuum sealer when your channel wants a steel finish and a low unit price, and your end user packs mostly dry product. Choose the 135W dual-pump platform when wet product is the daily job. 65 kPa is the line between those two answers.
Everything above comes from the production specification for this stainless steel vacuum sealer and from our own export packing record. Request the sample, and we will quote the tier that matches your real quantity rather than the headline one.
